Brian looked over the steam from his coffee cup into his oldest friends’ eyes.
“You know,” Brian stirred an excessive amount of sugar into the cup, “I don’t know what to do with her anymore. She does whatever she wants as if today’s the last day of her life.”
“Have you talked with her about this?” John asked after sipping from his own cup, “It’s possible she doesn’t realize how selfish she’s become.”
“I don’t know, man,” Brian stared off in thought and added: “I don’t know what to say to her or even how to start the conversation.”
“Dude,” John looked over the table, “she’s a cat. Start with Meow.”
